Skin Care Regimen

You should perform three steps one or two times daily in order to have glowing and health skin. The sensible skin care regimen should be the part of your daily routine. You need to be more attentive about your care with increase in your age. It is good for you to establish good health skin care habits and you should include these habits in your daily regimen like brushing your teeth.

Cleanse

You can use cleansing to remove dirt, makeup and grease from skin surface and it is important for all skin types. It can be in the form of mild soap, rich cleansing cream, gentle exfoliate and foaming cleanser. You should apply it gently on your skin with pads of fingers in circular motion and then spread it over the surface of your skin. Cleansers can be applied by using cloth, facial brush or sponge.

Tone

Toner can be applied after cleaning the skin. The leftover of makeup can be removed with the help of toner and it prepares the skin for moisturizers. You should select the toner according to your skin type and you should avoid toners containing alcohol which can cause irritation to your skin.

Moisturize

Moisturizing is the final step. You can use products like distillates, moisturizing oils, nutrients, antioxidants and other oils for moisturizing. You should choose moisturizer according to your skin type and it should contain many natural ingredients. Everything is absorbed by the skin even if it is not natural. You should apply light moisturizers with sunscreen in the morning to protect your skin. Light and rich creams can be used at night depending on your skin type.

Exfoliate

You can use exfoliating creams once in the week if you have oily skin which can slough off dead cells of skin and open your pores. Many people overlook this skin care regimen. It is important for you to get rid of dead skin on the face and you should keep your skin clean.

Facial Steam

You should treat your skin with steam bath after cleansing or exfoliating your skin two or three times. You should steam more regularly in case you have oily skin type. You should include it in your skin care routine. You can take steam by boiling 1.5 cup of water and then blend herb in the bowl and then take steam at table with bowl of water in front. The towel should be placed over your head covering it. You should take steam about 10 minutes.

Mask

You should treat yourself with face mask to balance the skin and stimulate it. The hair should be pulled back before applying mask and then apply smooth layer of mask on face and neck. You should not apply mask on mouth and eye areas. Keep mask for 10 to 15 minutes before drying and then rinse with warm water.

Hydration

Hydration of the skin is very important therefore it is good for you to drink plenty of water. The periodic misters of the skin to replenish the moisture and it can be very good especially if you work in office environment.

Eye Skin Area

You should be careful when you are applying moisturizers to delicate areas like eye and don’t drag or pull your skin. Apply the product by using ring finger in the form of smooth stroke.
