There is different dose of zinc required for children, adults, teenagers, men and women. You can get most non supplements zinc from meat and poultry in your diet. You can find zinc in beef, lamb and pork more than fish. There is plenty of zinc in dark chicken meat as compared to white meat. You can find zinc in oyster more than any other food. The zinc absorption can be reduced by phylates which are found in cereals, whole grain breads, legumes and other such products. Zinc is not found in vegetables and fruits. There will need of about 50% more zinc to the vegetarians due to lower zinc absorption from plant foods.
